Charter Review-Yacht Corus

(Currently out of charter)

In July I had a father and son who chartered Corus for a week of sailing and diving in the BVI. I was glad to hear from both parties, crew and guests how much they enjoyed it and enjoyed the conversation and friendship that was formed. I was also jealous to hear that they had over a hundred feet of visibility on the RMS RHone!

“Yes the Rhone was indeed something to remember. Bill is a really great dive master. I learned a lot from him, and appreciated his influence on my son (who doesn’t always hear the same words from his father). Great diving, conversation, and a bit of a piped up crossing one day when it kicked up too much to dive.

I would have ordered that for Santin if I had thought it possible. Ann’s cooking was a real treat. We had a great time any way you cut it. And they do a great job of making a rather small confined space feel very comfortable. Would have liked to stay longer, but budget is budget. Now my son wants to really learn sailing – and take some lessons in free diving. So thanks for putting us in touch with them.

PS Since, S is back on his campaign to eliminate the lion fish population here. We eat fresh fish every night, and the supply seems endless. We only saw 2, rather small ones on all 6 dives in BVI. Don’t know whether you folks are lucky or unlucky!”

Ann also sent along a couple pictures of the meals from this week…and they certainly look wonderful!

Samuel and Santin had these one evening for dinner:
Mahi mahi on saffron mash, with roasted asparagus, orange chilli hollandaise
and olive tapenade. Followed by profiteroles and dark chocolate sauce….

Thank you for taking good care of them Ann and Bill!

Corus has a good niche in the Virgin Islands, being a smaller budget yacht that offers diving for two guests. There rates are very attractive at $5900.00 for 7 nights all inclusive for 2 guests.

In fact, a child under 12 can use the navigator berth complimentary and they do offer half board rates additionally, as well as quite a few other discounts depending on the occasion. They are booked for New Years, but are still currently open for Thanksgiving and Christmas…
