Update and Recent Charter Reviews

I received an update from Catamaran Twilight Rodeo regarding their status post hurricanes.

Twilight Rodeo was safely berthed in Palmas del Mar, Puerto Rico for the 2017 hurricane season. Unfortunately, the eye of hurricane Maria came right over our location. Thankfully, the boat survived with only minor damage – the rig and hulls are still in tact with no holes or structure damage – only minor gel coat damage.
We were lucky!

Family Christmas Charter Review

This charter was our first look at the BVI since the storms, and we had a great family on board to experience it with. We celebrated family traditions, and started some new ones as well. The highlight of the trip was swimming with a family of wild dolphins in Cane Garden Bay! They enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to coming back- without kids!

Here’s what they had to say:

Paul – “I couldn’t have asked for a better Captain. Thank you for your patience, expertise, and humor. Jody – I could not have asked for a better cook/boat mom. Thanks for dishing out some of the best food and some of the wittiest remarks.” -Stirling

“I truly cannot imagine a better week. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and love of the islands and of sailing. All the meals were fabulous. We hope to be back!” -AB

New Years Charter

This group had a party wherever they went! From Foxy’s on Old Years Night to party on board at Cooper Island, they brought everyone around them along for the fun! Their highlight was Paradise Bar at Cane Garden Bay on New Years Day. The bar opened up just for them, and before we knew it, we had a big beach party with tourists and locals alike! They loved the sunsets and the time to be together as friends. We are still receiving messages from them – Chicago is really really cold!

Here’s what they had to say :

“Great trip and crew with the best of friends. Thank you for the fun, food, and experiences. Blessings and joy for you in 2018!” – Sunny and Nathan

“What a great first experience for us! Paul and Jody were amazing and always made sure to get us to the best spots and make sure we had a great time. Looking forward to our next trip! Thank you! “- Aaron and Lauren

“Thank you for a great trip! I really enjoyed the charter route – you introduced us to so many new and beautiful places. Our trip had everything we asked for and more. Until next time…” -Kelly and Josh

Charter Happening now!

These Canadian guests sure are enjoying the sunshine! We’re halfway through the charter and they are loving every stop! The highlight (so far) has been winning the conch shell blowing contest at the Michael Beans Happy Arrr Show in Leverick Bay. We are excited to have Queen Conch on board, and can’t wait for our next adventures with them!
